COVID-19 Update for INSPIRE @ IPSSW2020

Following the recent announcement to postpone IPSSW to October 2020 we wanted to address INSPIRE’s plans as well. (read the full notice here)

  • We are planning to hold a virtual meeting on Monday, April 27th (timing/duration and content TBC)
  • We will also plan to hold an in-person meeting at IPSSW2020
  • We will be working with all ALERT, Fellows and Award presenters to provide options for presentation timing, either virtually or in person.

More details will be sent in the coming weeks around virtual programing and on-site meetings. Above all, we want to keep the momentum and operations of INSPIRE moving forward.

We thank you all for your ongoing support and understanding. We cannot overstate the importance of bringing INSPIRE together to engage with each other and lean on the breadth of the scientific content and expertise making up our worldwide community.

We also know that this is a stressful time and commend you on the work you do day in and day out. Remember, if one of you is facing a new or unexpected issue others in the network may have already addressed it at their institution. So please reach out to others in the INSPIRE community during this time; above all we are here to support each other.

If you have additional questions you can contact us at [email protected] or you can visit www.inspiresim.com for up-to-date information. We look forward to seeing you virtually in April and in St. Petersburg in October.

Sincerely,

Aaron Calhoun, MD, FSSH
