Introducing INSPIRE Grand Rounds!

Join the INSPIRE community for our first virtual Grand Rounds event. In an effort to highlight the work of a diverse group of health professionals, INSPIRE Grand Rounds will feature multiple perspectives, including simulation research and non-traditional scholarly projects, while maintaining a goal of international representation and participation. Occurring 3 to 4 times per year, Grand Rounds will also provide an opportunity for networking and creating new relationships for collaboration and peer mentorship.

Our first meeting will focus on joining physical and emotional safety practices in interdisciplinary simulation education. Sarah Patterson, a Clinical Child Life Specialist and the Curriculum Coordinator for the Child Life & Pediatric Psychosocial Care Program at McMaster University, will be presenting on “Shifting the Paradigm: Unifying Physical & Emotional Safety within Simulation.”

Join us for INSPIRE Grand Rounds on Tuesday, April 5th at 10am-11:30am EST (UTC -5:00). The program will include our main speaker and breakout rooms, followed by informal networking time.
