Join the INSPIRE community for our first virtual Grand Rounds event. In an effort to highlight the work of a diverse group of health professionals, INSPIRE Grand Rounds will feature multiple perspectives, including simulation research and non-traditional scholarly projects, while maintaining a goal of international representation and participation. Occurring 3 to 4 times per year, Grand Rounds will also provide an opportunity for networking and creating new relationships for collaboration and peer mentorship. |
Our first meeting will focus on joining physical and emotional safety practices in interdisciplinary simulation education. Sarah Patterson, a Clinical Child Life Specialist and the Curriculum Coordinator for the Child Life & Pediatric Psychosocial Care Program at McMaster University, will be presenting on “Shifting the Paradigm: Unifying Physical & Emotional Safety within Simulation.” Join us for INSPIRE Grand Rounds on Tuesday, April 5th at 10am-11:30am EST (UTC -5:00). The program will include our main speaker and breakout rooms, followed by informal networking time. |
